Preparing Your Home For Showings
Showings are critical to the sale of your home. Below are some tips to help have your home show in the best possible light! We ask our sellers to leave the property during showings if at all possible. We know this is inconvenient and can be time-consuming but it is extremely important for prospective buyers to enter your house and feel like it could be THEIR home! If you are home, buyers feel like visitors ~ and we want them to be comfortable, browse around, and take their time seeing all your home has to offer!
Use this checklist to make sure your home shows to its best advantage:

Mow the lawn.

Close the garage doors.

Have your walks clean and clear.

Have the entrance neat and tidy.

Confine pets. We know you love your pets, but not everyone will.

Have the house smelling fresh and clean.

Leave lights on in every room.

Open drapes – natural light is an asset.

Have TVs and radios off.
q
Have your day-to-day clutter out of sight.

The sink should be empty of dishes.

Keep kitchen counters clear.

Don’t have laundry visible.
